Data-Tunnelling
Data-tunnelling®© enables the secure transfer of data and information along the supply chain, protected against external attempts of manipulation.
The first step is to generate a sustainable delivery note using the SSC602-Standard®©, which meets the legal and system requirements to transfer sustainable biomass for biofuel production along the supply chain. A QR code is generated from this data with ISM-Encryption®© which can then be printed on the delivery note alongside the readable unencrypted data. The entire data set consisting of readable information and the encrypted QR code can be saved, sent, or printed out as a hard copy.
The recipient along the supply chain receives the data as a file or hard copy. Thanks to the ISM-Encryption®©, only the plain information is accessible. The encoded information of the QR code can be inserted to the database with a scanner or saved as a file upon receipt. When read, the data inside the QR code is automatically deciphered and inserted into the database in plain form.
From the database, a new data record with an ISM-Encryption®© code can be generated using the SSC602-Standard®© which may then passed on to the next interface along the supply chain.
As a result of the ISM-Encryption®©, which cannot be manipulated by third parties at any time, all data along the supply chain can be traced from registration to the last interface and is secured in the highest possible manner.
